What’s new in Stafrix.

What we’ve added and fixed, newest first. On the website there’s nothing to install: changes reach your workspace by themselves.

November 2026

  1. Incentives and bonuses

    • NewAdd a sales incentive, a Diwali bonus or an award to one person, a department or everyone at once, for one month or every month. It shows on the payslip as its own line.
    • NewA bonus already handed over in cash can be recorded as paid separately, so it’s on record without being paid twice.
    • NewAutomatic incentives pay by attendance when a month ends: for full attendance, for coming in on time, or an amount for each day worked above a number you choose. Before saving one, you see who would have earned it last month.
    • ImprovedA bonus is kept out of ESI wages, as it’s paid less often than every two months; an incentive counts. The Excel export has its own column for incentives and bonuses.

  2. The Daily register and daily wages

    • NewA Daily register for people with no phone to check in with. A supervisor picks a day and a site, then marks each person present, half day or absent. Nobody on the register needs the app.
    • NewPay by the day: set a daily wage for anyone, and they’re paid for each day worked, on the same payroll and payslips as your salaried staff. Weekly offs and holidays are paid only when they work.
    • NewSites join departments and branches, each with its own site supervisor.
    • ImprovedContractors and factories have their own way in on the first screen, in the app and on the website.

  1. Stafrix in your language

    • NewThe dashboard and the employee app now work in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, as well as English.
    • NewEach person chooses their language the first time they sign in, and can change it later: dashboard users under Appearance in Settings, employees on their profile.

  2. School workspaces

    • NewSchools and coaching institutes can start their own workspace, with attendance, leave and payroll for teachers and staff.
    • NewA School page holds classes, the timetable and cover for absent teachers. Teachers see their periods and cover in the Stafrix app or the employee portal.

  3. Brand Studio

    • NewOn Business and above, Brand Studio adds a message on Home, a welcome after check-in, and greetings on the days you choose, all in your colours.
    • NewDigital ID cards in the employee app, with a photo, employee ID and a QR code a guard can scan. A card stops working on its own when someone leaves.

  4. Closed payroll months and a Deductions page

    • NewClose a payroll month once it’s paid. Its payslips are kept exactly as they were paid, and its attendance, leave, fines and holidays can’t be changed by accident. An admin can reopen it.
    • NewA Deductions page lists every advance, loan and other deduction plan across the company, with what each has recovered so far.
    • ImprovedWhen a salary can’t cover a month’s advance or loan instalment, the rest carries into the next month instead of leaving a negative payslip.
    • FixedNew employees added without a joining date are no longer paid weekly offs and holidays for months before they started.

  5. Branches, franchises and account deletion

    • NewDepartments & branches now holds branches and franchises too, each with its own head, so multi-site businesses can organise people by location.
    • NewA public page explains how an employee or admin can have their account and data deleted.
    • NewAn email is sent whenever a password is changed or reset, with where it happened and what to do if it wasn’t you.

  6. Notifications, reminders and your brand

    • NewPush notifications on phones and browsers for approvals waiting for you and other updates, with a choice of what you get.
    • NewCheck-in reminders for employees: one when their shift has started and they haven’t checked in, and one when they’re still checked in after it ends.
    • NewOn Business and above, your brand colour and logo appear in the employee app and on emails to your employees.
    • NewCheck-ins worth a second look, such as one made far from the workplace, with a rough location, or from a phone another employee also used that day, are marked on attendance calendars with the reason.
    • NewHelp on WhatsApp from the pricing and payment pages.

  7. Smart import, automatic renewal and My stats

    • NewSmart import reads almost any file, including every sheet of a workbook or a PDF report, and suggests company details, shifts and employees for you to confirm.
    • NewRenew automatically: turn it on to pay for the same plan at the start of each period, and off at any time without losing the time you paid for.
    • NewMy stats in the employee app shows how someone’s attendance is going this month against the months before.
    • NewReport a problem and Request a feature, on the dashboard, in Settings and in Intelligence, go straight to the Stafrix team.
    • NewSend a warning or add a fine directly from an Intelligence finding about one person.
    • ImprovedA reminder appears when 80% of your plan’s employee limit is used.

  8. Richer approvals and emailed payslips

    • NewApproving is more than yes or no: approve part of a leave or pay a share of it, approve fewer overtime minutes or a different rate, and add a note for the employee.
    • NewAsk your own questions when managers approve, and choose which managers’ notes employees can read.
    • NewEmail one payslip or all of them to your employees.
    • NewDelete a workspace from Company details, with seven days to change your mind.
    • ImprovedInvite links open the Stafrix app directly when it’s installed.

  9. Pay for your plan online

    • NewChoose a plan and pay online from Plan & billing. The plan is active as soon as the payment is confirmed, and a receipt is emailed.

  10. Stafrix Intelligence, plans and stronger check-in

    • NewIntelligence finds things worth a look in attendance and pay: late trends, absence streaks, heavy overtime, leave clashes and more, plus ready-made letters and a Monday summary email.
    • NewAI features, when turned on: ask questions in plain words, approve drafts it prepares, and read “Why this amount” in Hindi and other languages.
    • NewStarter, Business and Intelligence plans, each with a free trial and no card needed.
    • NewFingerprint or face check-in on the employee’s own phone, one phone for one person, and new phones to approve.
    • NewPF, ESI and Professional Tax on payslips.
    • NewSecurity alerts for unusual activity, two-step sign-in, and a list of the devices you’re signed in on.
    • NewImport employees from an Excel or CSV file, and reset a forgotten password from the sign-in page.
    • NewApproval history lists every past decision on leave, overtime and missed punches.

  11. A guided start

    • NewNew workspaces start with a four-step welcome: your workspace name, where your team works, a normal day’s hours, and your first people.

  12. Departments and teams

    • NewOrganise people into departments with a head, and teams with team leads.

  13. Selfie check-in

    • NewAsk for a selfie with every phone check-in, shown next to the punch.

  14. Stafrix is here

    • NewThe web dashboard for attendance, employees, shifts, leave and holidays, tasks, announcements and payroll with business rules.
    • NewThe employee portal: swipe to check in at the workplace, ask for leave and missed punches, and see tasks and payslips. It installs on a phone like an app.
    • NewPrintable payslips and employee résumés, one A4 page each.
