Everything between the attendance calendar and the net pay, following the rules you set once.

• Paid days
  Present days, half days, paid leave, holidays and paid weekly offs, with the leave sandwich if you use it.
• Daily wages
  Pay anyone by the day, next to salaried staff in the same payroll. Weekly offs and holidays are paid only when they work.
• Overtime
  Counted from real check-out times, paid at your rate, and only once it’s approved.
• Late marks and fines
  Applied under your grace time, with a cap on fines so a month can’t be emptied.
• Incentives and bonuses
  Added to one person, a department or everyone, as a fixed amount or a percent of pay. Automatic ones pay for full attendance, coming on time or extra days, and each shows as its own line on the payslip.
• Advances and loans
  Taken in instalments, carried over when pay is short so net pay never goes below zero, and stopped once recovered.
• PF, ESI and professional tax
  Worked out on every payslip, including when ESI starts or stops applying to someone.

Not once you close the month. A closed month keeps every payslip exactly as it was, and changes that would alter it are refused until an admin reopens the month. Late punches are still recorded, so nothing is lost.
